This is a README file accompanying the public release of the QSO catalogue 
from the 2dF-SDSS LRG and QSO (2SLAQ) Survey.  The information is described
in detail by:

Croom et al. 2008, MNRAS submitted, 
"The 2dF-SDSS LRG and QSO Survey: The spectroscopic QSO catalogue."

The following files are distributed:

2slaq_qso_public.cat - full 2SLAQ QSO catalogue with redshifts
2slaq_qso_public.rep - listing of repeated observations of individual 
                       objects.
2slaq_qso_fields.dat - Observed 2SLAQ field centres.
2slaq_colcomp.dat    - 2SLAQ colour completeness array as a function of
                       redshift and g-band magnitude.  Also includes the
                       modelled host galaxy contributions in both the g
                       and i-bands (Table 12 from paper).
2slaq_ngp_cov_mask.dat - Coverage mask in the NGP region. 
2slaq_sgp_cov_mask.dat - Coverage mask in the SGP region. 
2slaq_ngp_spec_mask.dat - Spectroscopic completeness mask in the NGP region. 
2slaq_sgp_spec_mask.dat - Spectroscopic completeness mask in the SGP region. 
2slaq_ngp_nest_mask.dat - Nobs/Nest mask in the NGP region. 
2slaq_sgp_nest_mask.dat - Nobs/Nest mask in the SGP region. 
2slaq_rz.dat            - Redshift dependent spectroscopic completeness
                          corrections (Table 13 of paper).
